Manure Spreading

The spring tines efficiently breakup and spread horse, cattle and other dropping in the field. The unique layout of the tines and levelling board drag and spread the droppings vastly reducing the time taken for the manure to break down. The springing action of the tines and levelling board is far superior compared to the conventional chain harrow.

Thatch and Dead Grass Removal

Thatching of dead grass and mosses prevent new growth and reduce the efficiency of the grass lay. The spring tines penetrate through the dead grasses into the soil below lifting and ripping the dead grass this allows light and air to reach the soil and helps the dead grasses to decompose.

Pasture Over seeding

When over seeding the levelling board can be used to level gateways and damaged areas of the field, helping to produce the conditions required for the seed to establish. The aggressive angle of the tines in the most vertical position penetrate the surface of the soil creating a fine soil layer to a depth of around 20mm as well as crushing any lumps of soil left by the levelling board . Grass seed can then be spread manually or with a electric spreader and mixed into the sine soil with one more pass with the harrow rejuvenating an old pasture with new productive grasses

Ménage and all Weather Surfaces

The levelling board on the ATV harrow cab be adjusted to level the Ménage and gallops by dragging the surface material and filling low areas as well as pilling material away from the fence. All sand, rubber, fibber and wax surfaces can be renovated by levelling and mixing the surface with the ATV Harrow providing a firm even and level riding surface.

Tine Options

The ATV harrows are available with a choice of tine configurations. For every day usage in a regularly grazed horse paddock the 50 Tine 6mm option will be best for you as it provides the best spreading of manure and removal of dead grasses although is better for shorter grass paddocks.

The 40 tine 7mm option is recommended more for levelling rough damaged ground as well as ripping dead grasses and weeds out but will also spread manure like the 6mm tine.

Adjustable Levelling board

As standard the new ATV Harrow comes with the adjustable and sprung twin edge blade that allows for light manure levelling or adjusted to the aggressive edge for levelling gate ways and damaged ground so soil can be dragged and spread.
